Oil waste buildup

Hi

I would like to know why you feel its okay to allow your customers to fix their vehicles on your premises and to leave oil waste behind and why is it not cleaned up because the place looks so filthy. Your practices are hurting the community and the environment. Please do something about it. Your previous response to such a matter was:

"Hello suurbekom,

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention. While we would like to assist you in this matter, the area in question is the parking lot of a shopping complex which is not the property of Midas. The shop owner has liaised with the shopping centre landlord who has acknowledged that she has been attempting to resolve this problem for a while now and will continue to do so".

It makes no sense to me that you or your franchisees can't be proactive in these matters. The people who dump this oil are drawn by your stores so maybe take some responsibility and the Department of environmental affairs' attention can be drawn to this matter so that all those involved can be held accountable and educated about it's impact.
