It was legally binding the verbal conversation, to return the instrument in the original box with all accessories. CellC accepted the cellphone on the 19th November and I was requested to complete a cancellation document. At no stage was I advised that a penalty for the full value was due. Logic should tell you that nobody would hand in a cellphone and continue to pay the service provider.
Cellc advised that they were unable and are still unable to stop service provider MIDAS using R6.15 per day due to re allocated number and Cellc technical challenges.
I did not complete a fresh contract or a separate contract which is now being debited to banking account.
It now thirteen day since visiting both stores which took three hours and several other visits trying to resolve this matter and several emails with no response.
Complaint on Hellopeter responded to by Sipho, who advised on behalf of Cellc that they would respond before the end of today, another service failure. This matter has to be escalated to a Director of CellC or else I do not trust that this matter is being addressed as I am not being responded at all.
