I managed to get my paid up letter by Foschini this month and this account was paid on 28 Dec 2008. I was advised to go instore to apply for a new account. After two days I went back instore only for them to tell me it has been declined. Reason - charged off account.
when I got home I phoned Foschini new account and was told that on there system is still shows a charged off account. and that I should talk to customer services and have it removed since the account was paid up in full on 28 December 2008. I then spoke to faizal by customer services who told me my account was handed to lawyers that is why it is charged off.
I told him the account was paid up in 2008 and he said that admin department needs to sort it out and that they were closed.
My question is if admin department has sorted it out why has it not been updated on their system and why was I told to re apply instore? Either you have incompetent people working for you or you need to change your system. I phone from work each day and the bill is already high. Who is going to compensate me for my expenses due to your negligences..Why is my account still at the attorneys even though I received the paid up letter? Questions?
