Late delivery bad customer experience

I went in to the House & Home store at lakeside mall to purchase a bedroom suite. I requested that the bedroom suite be delivered on 7 December 2013 at 10h00 specifically as I had other appointments. The sales assistant and manager assured me that I had nothing to worry about as the delivery would be there at 10h00. Well today is the 7th December and guess what, still no delivery. I called the store manager and he gave me some excuse about the drivers being delayed. So I now have to pay for an appointment which I had to cancel and House & Home are not interested. There is nothing they can do. Well so much for caring about the service they provide. And I still have to pay for delivery charges.
