I have to say that I usually have nothing but praise for Takealot, but this time I was disappointed and this time it mattered as the parcel is a gift. I ordered a gift for my Dad last week and the website indicated delivery by 2 Dec. When I order from Takealot, they are usually on time and deliver right to my door. Till yesterday it showed 'in transit' when I used the tracking number and I phoned to find out why it hadn't been delivered yet. When I gave the lady my tracking number, she said it shows it's been delivered, I then said no, when I check it it shows 'in transit' to which she very rudely replied that it's been delivered. I then asked why my dad hasn't received it then? to which she replied it's at the post office. Nothing I have ever ordered has gone to the post office so I asked why this parcel had gone to the post office but the only response I could get from her is a very irritated it's at the post office, which she just repeated with increasing intensity. I am a loyal customer of [URL Removed] and when I do have an enquiry I expect at the very least courteousness. If I did something wrong during the check out process then she can politely explain that.. Poor show
