Parcel stuck at JHB INT MAIL CENTRE (hub)

Parcel was posted from USA last year, it shows it entered SA (and says to customs) on the 2012/08/13. it has been stuck at the JHB INT MAIL CENTRE (hub) ever since, today is already the 2013/06/21 and tracking shows its still there. every time i phone i get told it will be delivered in next few days, and i wait patiently, still track and trace shows it lying there, in a weeks time it will have been there many months. This is really really poor service from the post office, i ordered another parcel a day before this one from ebay and it did not got delivered too. so why does the post office take so long? is there no one that can speed these things up?
