Unacceptable attitude and bad service

I went to Pick n Pay at lunch time today (12h00). I ordered food from the cafe as a take away. Please note that there was only one table occupied with 3 peope, the rest of the cafe was empty. All i ordered was a croissant with bacon and avo. I then got told to have a seat and wait for it, I informed the 2 gentlemen that I will go and do my shop and come back. After I did my shopping and returned to collect my food, i was just ignored by the 2 gentlemen. The lady at the till could not tell me where my food was. Eventually I had to ask the gentlemen who took my order where my food is. I then got told that it was not made yet. He then said that it's not his fault, it's the chef's fault.
I find this unacceptable! I landed up leaving without the food as I could not wait LONGER for the basic meal that I ordered.
I honestly think they need to communicate with one another better and stop blaming each other (in front of customers). Its sad to say this, but I will not be going back there.
