POLICE FAILED TO FIX MY WATCH

When I bought POLICE watch from American Swiss I did not have a problem with the exorbitant amount on the price tag because I was of the view that I am buying quality and durable piece of luxury. My nightmare however started when my watch straps got worn out and got torn. I went to AMRERICAN SWISS at Quagga shopping complex in Pretoria west to have it fixed. American Swiss then sent the watch to POLICE to have it fixed but then POLICE sent me quotation for fixing the watch which amounted to R900 not mentioning that it had caused me plus minus R 1500 to buy it. I have however agreed to pay the amount only to find out that they could only sew back the straps because they couldn't replace the old ones with the new ones as they did not have them (mind you those are the manufactures). I was told not to pay the R900 as they couldn't replace the straps. Now I am having a very good watch with dilapidated straps and I can't find them anywhere else. SHOULD I THROW IT AWAY AFTER ALLL THE MONEY I SPENT ON IT? I NEED WAY FORWARD. On the contrary my SWATCH watch also had its straps torn but SWATCH managed to replace them with new ones for free.
