CNA
FAULTY NOTEBOOK - BAD SERVICE

Shops, Products, Services

So I bought a Laptop from CNA on the 15th Nov 2013 at 20:30. As the disk drive is only used for loading stuff from disc of listening to CD's it was only used later in the week, eg. Wednesday/Thursday. It wouldn't eject on first push of the button, and only ejected once or twice.

I called CNA the Friday (22 Nov) but I was told because 7 days has passed they can't do anything but send it for repairs. Apparently 15 Nov to 22 Nov is regarded as 8 Days. Any other retailer would have made an exception because of the value of the product. It is now the 22 Dec, my laptop is at the supplier, has not been looked at yet.

Do we as customers who buy products at CNA have to bare the brunt of faulty items? Items costing in excess of R5000. I have been in possession of the laptop for 7 Days, CNA or their Supplier has had it for 10 Days now.

Is there any guarantee that it will work once it's returned or if my laptop is even being attended to in a professional manner?

I bitterly regret buying this item from them.
