I lodged a complaint regarding my faulty Whirlpool built in microwave which was still under warranty in October 2013. The first visit by the technician on 11 October resulted in them ordering a new part and a promise to fix. Two weeks later the technician returned with the part and discovered it was the incorrect part. Since then I have been promised repair every week only to find that when I follow up on why the technician never arrived, they have ordered the incorrect part again. If all is to be believed, they have now ordered the incorrect part 4 times! I am now still waiting for this magical part to arrive, still without my fancy built in microwave and still waiting for either Hirsch's or Whirlpool to do something about it. My suggestion would be do not buy a Whirlpool microwave and especially not from Hirsch's.
