False promise of discounts

Supplier sends out SMS's to their database of customers in which they state" buy for R750, pop a balloon to get extra 5 to 25% off! " I decided to take them up on this offer and selected items to the value of over R800 expecting to receive at least a 5% discount on my purchase. I was however disappointed to learn when checking out that the offer was only valid for certain items in the store and not on items that had already been marked down as part of their sale. My purchase would therefor not qualify for the promised balloon popping discount.

Extremely disappointed with this supplier as I have been supporting them regularly for a number of years.
