I took out a lay-bye 3months ago, and I honestly didn't realise that the lay-bye had expired a few days ago. I went to the store to pay the balance and collect the items and was told that it expired and they no longer have the items reserved for me. If I gave them all my contact details why couldn't they phone me AT LEAST, to notify me that it expired and if I don't collect it they will have to put it back on the floor. I spent hours collecting all the items and without warning or notification they just decide to take it away from me? Now I have to start all over again. I am so off because I will obviously got get the same items again. I was planning on taking out another lay-bye but I don't feel like ever shopping there again if that is how they operate and I will strongly advise all my family and friends against Ackermans. The only way this whole ordeal will make me feel better is if they are able to gather all the items I chose and allow me to pay and collect it
