I bought a Luella shoe at Foschini Southgate. I wore the shoe for the first time on the 25th Nov 13, the shoe was not comfortable, it felt like I was wearing flip flops and not a formal Luella shoe. I was not satisfied with the shoe then I took it back to the store on the 26th Nov 13. I spoke to Simphiwe, the store manager and she told me she can't help me because the shoe has been worn and can't be sold. The matter was referred to Precious who is the area manager and she also to me that because the shoe has been worn it can't be refunded in full because they cant sell it. It shows that Foschini is more concerned about the short term gain and the long term relationship with their customers is not important. I also don't understand, I used the shoe for its intended use and how was I supposed to know that the shoe is not suitable if I didn't wear it. I am not satisfied with the feedback from these ladies. I tried to get hold of the regional manager but Ann told that she (Chantal) is out of the country. I bought a shoe at Woolworths, I wore it and it was not suitable for me I took it and got a full refund. Companies like that value their long term relationship with their customer.
