I bought my wife 3 pairs of Bata shoes in a period of a month. 2 of these were used for only 2 weeks (if that long) and became unusable, one tore and the other killed her feet. So now we decide to return the 3rd pair and guess what! All of a sudden there is a 14 day refund policy in place that does not even appear on the slip. I then get hold of head office and first of all that receptionist can't answer calls properly, then she puts me through to someone that can assist, and I wait on the phone for more then 3 minutes before being told that he is not available. He then eventually calls me and tells me I can't get my money back, only a voucher. I am not happy with those shoes but now they want to force me to continue spending my money in they're stores. What happened to consumer law??? If you have a slip and the shoes are in a resellable condition, why can't I get my money back? Then he even has the nerve to try and tell me my story and my wife's don't add up, like I'm a artist or something. This is completely unfounded!
