I purchased goods from Clicks yesterday at Centurion Lifestyle Centre (20 Nov 2013). After I entered my pin and received a notification on my cell phone that the money has been reserved for my purchase at Clicks, the whole system went down - resulting in the payment not being recorded on the system and no slip that could be issued. After I showed Sylvia on my cell that the money was reserved for Clicks, she said that I could go and that they will contact me if there is any problems. Since then, she has been calling me every half an hour to ask if the money reversed and to tell me that it didn't go through. I have a serious problem with being inconvenienced and phoned constantly while I am working due to an error which I have no responsibility for for the following simple reasons: 1. I get paid per hour of work. To take an hour off to sort this issue out will cost me R1200 - I'm not doing this for a purchase of R150. 2. I told Sylvia that I will contact my private banker today to make sure whether the money will go through or not from my side - I'm not double paying for anything! But she still keeps phoning me every half hour which is a major inconvenience while at work!!!
