What is going on?

Dear Edgars

I got a text message this morning, informing me that my account has been handed over to someone /some company called VVM, and I should call to make payment arrangements.

This is surprising because my account is. It in arrears.

1. What exactly does this mean? I have a 6 month payment plan WITH EDGARS, why do I need to make another one?

2. Is my Edgars card cancelled? If so why wasn't I informed by Edgar's.

I find this upsetting and it tells me Edgar's no lounge wants my business.
