Refuse to exchange damaged goods

I bought a chipped server on Saturday 10 November from this store. The chip wasn't noticed. It was wrapped, and fragile stamp placed on receipt. Upon opening the package I noticed that the server was chipped. When I tried to return it today I was told they did check it before the time, everything was intact, and its my problem now.
