Goods return policy you do not give money back!!!

I purchased clothing to the value of R842 a couple of months ago from your store, but there were issues with it and I returned it. The attendant told me that I could only get a credit note, which is only valid for 6 months but not my money back. On 2013/11/09 (Saturday) I wanted to purchase a shirt to the value of R 389 with the credit note but again the attendant told me that I have to use the FULL amount or I cannot use the credit note at all. This is completely unacceptable!!! I do not want to purchase ANYTHING from you again and I DEMAND my money back. I believe your policy contradicts the CPA and I should be entitled to my money back.
