On Friday 01 Nov 2013, i returned a dress to Foschini boulders mall midrand. Upon arrival the store manager refused to refund me given the state of the slip. the slip had a black stain across it and i explained that i dont know what spill over the slip. After a lengthy dialogue the store manager indicated to me that the company policy prohibit her to refund me given the trend of cases emanating from damaged slips. this didnt make sense at all to me and requested her to make a copy of my ID and card so that they can trace me should there be a need for investigation but she refused. at the back of the slip there is no mention of the state of the slip on the return policies. The goods were returned in a good state and unworn. Foschini policies compromises my customer rights and i request a refund from Foschini. the dress does not fit me properly i cannot wear it. the store manager became very personal about my complaint to an extend of telling me that there is no need of making a fuss over R360.00. I explained to her that this is my money not hers, such opinions must be made to her personal belongings, while at work she must understand that she represent the company.
