I purchased a pair of Salomon trail running shoes a while ago and after wearing them for 2 months I found a defect on the shoe. When I returned the shoe to Due South the friendly staff was more than willing to assist me but advised me that they will have to refer the problem to the Salomon rep. The rep had an extremely bad attitude wanted to repair the shoe with glue and I realised that he had that attitude because there was nobody above him and nobody you could report it to.
I called Due South head office and was referred to Carmen Howard who called me back and agreed with everything I had to say and suggested that I come in and she will make sure that I have the shoe replaced without knowing that I misplaced the slip.
Ralton the store manager, Themba and Naz then took it from there and handled everything for me without any trouble at all I was always received with a smile and assisted efficiently.
This is an example of how customer service should be in South Africa, if anyone complains of bad service at Due South Canal Walk send them to me.

Extremely happy customer keep it Up Carmen, Ralton, Themba and Naz... I'll be back
