I have been thinking about this complaint for a while and have decided to lodge it in the hope that no one else goes through such. I bought a blue suede shoe form Aldo V&A Waterfron early in 2012. I had the shoe for just over 8 months and it started tearing. I took it to Aldo in Canal Walk and was assisted by the then manager Jonathan (who was extremely helpful). He tried finding the shoe at the various branches to no avail. I was then forced to get a replacement shoe-and had to pay in the difference between the 2. The shoe I got was a beige suede loafer as they no longer had blue suede shoes. I then left the blue suede shoe at Aldo-that was in Septemebr last year. I have been looking for a blue suede shoe since then. I have tried looking online, various Aldo stores in various towns-no avail. I then called Aldo canal walk this week to find out if they by any chance still had my shoe and they advised they would not have it. I asked what they did with such shoes and they said they write them off. I asked the person who answered the phone if there is no one who can assist in terms of trying to trace. He was very dismissive and not interedted in helping me at all.
