Unscrupulous Shoprite Checkers Southway Mall

On Tueday 05/11/2013 @ about 17:15 I went and did shopping at Shoprite Checkers Southway Mall. Everyday after 17:00 they normally put all the sale item in the trolley (s) to be sold at marked down prices. In the trolley I found fresh cream cakes that had a previous day sell-by date (04/11/2013). It is not the first time reporting the same incident to the Manager concerned, it is actually the fourth time. Even with the previous Managers I complained about the same issue. The shop has a record of selling customers food stuff that is not good for human consumption and their Managers are more concerned about controlling wastage/profit at the detriment of the innocent unsuspicious customers. All the goods that are found in those trolleys are either rotten or very close to be rotten. The company policy is to have those goods disposed but they are sold to customers and in some goods they even try to hide expiry dates.
