I purchased a pair of Puma BMW M series Phantom black sneakers from cross trainer at the Gateway shopping mall on the 8th of June 2013. On the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of November, the sole of the sneaker started to separate from the upper of the right shoe. I visited the store this morning the 4th of November 2013 to complain about the defect. The manager of the store then told me that cross trainer has a 3 month defect policy, which was never explained to me when the purchase was made, and does not appear on the till slip of the purchaced item. For an item that costs just over R1000 I expect it to last for much longer than the 5 months that I have had it. I am very disappointed with the after sales service from the store.
