I bought a camera (Panasonic Lumix FZ48) on 1st December with delivery promised by 4th but delivered more than 2 weeks later. The camera does not work properly! The night shots are very grainy and yellow and the flash does not always activate. The quality of daytime photos is also very poor. I returned the camera to Takealot on 3 January. On Monday (28th) the camera was returned to me without warning or explanation and with the connector cable missing. I emailed Takealot to find out what was going on and was told someone had already spoken to me (huh??) and there was nothing wrong with the camera. This cannot be true as this product received rave reviews on the internet yet the quality of photographs far worse than I could take with a cheap cell phone. I have emailed twice asking for explanation and refund and if this is not possible for the connector cable to be returned. I have not no response. This is the first time I have had problems with a purchase from Takealot and am extremely disappointed with their customer care and apparently non-existent after-sale service. :( :( :(
