My Managing Executive received a Canon Ixus 510 HS Camera on the 21/06/13
The camera was bought from Stax Fourways on the 14/06/13.The camera was given to my Managing Executive who opened the camera the next morning and detected that the lens does not open properly
It was charged and the lens opened and everything was fine, she took photos
I called the closest Stax branch being Dunkeld. Dunkeld indicated to bring the camera in and they would send it To Camera Tek as they are the authorised repairers. The camera was booked in at Stax Dunkeld on the 26/08/13 After numerous calls, the camera was collected on the 4th of October to repair but the camera was in a WORSE Condition (I have witnesses to prove this and prepared to give Affidavits stating the condition), the camera would only go on intermittently, the lens STILL had the same problem, there was a lose at the bottom and the slot for the memory card does not close properly, the touch screen is not working and there is a big scratch at the bottom of the screen. Canon prides themselves in Quality but why would STAX Dunkeld deliver such QUALITY? All Im asking is replace the Camera that my Managing Executive can enjoy her gift
