My husband received a pair of Guess jeans as a birthday present on the 08 January 2013 as a gift. The price tage is still attached to the garment. I did not have a receipt for the item but was told that it shouldn't be a problem if the tag is on. When the lady saw it was a name brand she said she had to refer to her supervisor because they don't exchange name brands. She came back and said they can't do it cause its a name brand. I asked her where on the terms and conditions does it say anything about not exchanging name brand clothing and she insisted it was there when she couldn't find it she used the excuse about it not having a till slip which now changed the story. The so called store manager also couldn't find it and also then used the till slip as an excuse. When I contacted their head office I was rudely told to read my t&c and when I told her it doesn't say anything about not exchanging name brands she said it must be there, she then said she doesn't have a copy of it to which I replied she should go look and phone me back to which she replied that she can't make outward calls.
