FALSE ADVERTISING & BAD ATTITUDE

Shops, Products, Services

I find a very good deal on a pair of goggles that was priced R229.95, my girlfriend was surprised because she said she has the same pair but it was R289.95, so i called the assistant and ask if this was the price and she said no it was a mistake, so i ask to speak to the manager who was on duty because to my knowledge this is false advertising as the pair was on a model shown with the tag marked clearly; let me note that there was no markings or any other signage that lead me to believe that this item was on sale or as the store says a "YELLOW TICKET SALE" (of which i have images to back up what i saw).

Meet Deleste, i asked her about the pricing she first claims that it was a mistake, then i asked about me buying the product at that price and she changed her story saying and i quote: " someone brought it back thats why they have marked it down, there is no box and its scratched so that is the reasoning they have marked the product down"
So why did they not send the product back to the vendor??? how can you be selling a used product and have it on display with no 2nd hand sign or mark down sticker. i asked someone else, and she threatens to escort me out the store, i was shocked!
