Owner called my complaint petty, refused to help!

I bought a pair of shoes (Fannie Angelo) from a Cape Town retailer (Ice Clothing) on 09/09/2013 and it completely fell apart within one month. When I returned it to the store to inquire I was informed of a no refund/exchange/return policy and told that they have never had a complaint before therefore the problem must be with me, and that I must have worn the shoes 'wrong'. They insisted they sold 'many' other pairs just like it with no complaints yet but could not produce any sales records to verify how many of the style they had stocked and sold. The owner herself called my complaint 'petty' and refused to speak to me.
I returned home with the broken pair of shoes and no solution and would now like to warn consumers in Cape Town of the inferior quality of shoes sold there and the owner's absolute refusal to hear complaints, exchange or refund.
