Damaged Shoe and unsatistactory return policy

I like most women value a good pair of shoes. On Saturday afternoon I purchased a pair of shoes from solo shoes at the Newcastle branch at Newcastle Mall. I was in a hurry so I did not have time to check the quality of the shoes. When I later looked at them the heel of the right shoe was not accurately inserted and the shoe had scratch marks. When i returned the shoes the next morning the staff avoided me and pretended I was not there. I told the cashier I was here to return damaged shoes and she asked if I could read their return policy, I told her I was well aware that they do not do cash returns I would like to have the shoes replaced. She brought out another pair for me which was in worse shape then the one I purchased. I have always liked solo shoes and have always had great service from their branch in east rand mall and I have never returned a pair of shoes I bought there just because Newcastle is a small town it does not mean we do not appreciate fashion and good service. I am now stuck with a credit note and a branch I now dislike and do not trust the quality of their shoes. Feel so cheated.
