What happened to the money I paid

On the 5th october I went and paid my jet account and buy few things for myself;I paid R600 for my credit and bought make up and a dress for myself;I got my receipt;got home the dress didn't fit me nicely and decided to exchange the dress and get another size I went to the same shop to do the exchange and the receipt I was given for payment and the purchase was taken when I did my exchange and to my shock I received msg & calls from edcon that am a month in arrears so I was ignoring the msg as I know I paid and thought the was a mistake or something as I never skipped a payment I then decided to call the number given to query; shock of my life am told I didn't pay but the purchase I did that day shows but not the payment and and what I know querying that I paid a proof of payment is needed to proof the payment & my ITC status OMW.Where have my payment disappered to? I need answers from Edgars especially from the ladie who helped me on that day. I trusted her with my money as she was helping me so why am I in arrears? was I taken for a fool or what? I need an explanation
