After spending almost R2000 on linen in the store, I went to customer care to show them my Busby purse (which i had purchased for approx R600 a few month prior), as the stitching was coming apart, only to be told i needed to go to the relevant section manager to address the problem. I then went to the handbag section where I was once again fobbed off onto a sales assistant and then to a manager. She then told me it was not her section but that she would find the correct manager. After a while the lady returned and advised me that the manager was on her tea break and in any case there is a 30 day return policy so there was nothing that could be done! I was furious and left the store. Not sure about anyone else but i dont normally change purses every month! I have no doubt thay if this had been WOOLWORTHS i would not have been treated with such disdain. I intend closing my account, which i have had for approx 25 years!!! I will return the linen and now only shop at Woolworths where the service and quality is far superior. I will also encourage friends and family to do the same. i will attempt to contact the supplier as i still believe in the brand, but not EDCON!
