I have purchased a leather lounge set from Gateway House n Home in August 2013, within less than a month the stitches were opening up and I requested an exchange, on delivery of the exchanged unit the unit was damaged when it was opened.

This is another instance where the lounge set cushioning is sagging and the arms and back rest is not firm but saggy. I have being dealing with Angie, Vijay and the branch Manager Candis Sudhu as I requested for a replacement unit and all I get told is that the unit has to be repaired as the company no longer makes this product. I was also offered a discount if I took the sample displayed unit in store which was torn already. If I wanted something cheaper I WOULD NOT have paid that much cash for the item. This lounge set is less than a month old and the company wants me to get it repaired bare in mind I have paid cash of R18500 for the unit.

The staff keeps on telling me that it HAS to go in for a repaired warranty and I WILL NOT accept this as I thought I was purchasing an item from a reputable store and to get this kind of service is not acceptable.

Please can I have a full cash back or a replacement done.
