I've always had decent service at Edgars but today was the exception - don't know if its just that store but how frustrating it was! Firstly, the trainee who so-to-speak assisted me had no idea what to do, the permanent staff member (Nadine) had no interest in acknowledging me (at no point did she address me directly) and after complaining to the manager - he did not even attempt an apology & disappeared before I was sorted out.

I asked the trainee what the store manager's name was and she said I think its Fatima. After telling her to find out, she came back and said they also think its Fatima but they're not sure. And the surname, I said - we don't know, she says.

Maybe my request was too ambitious - I wanted to update my address & employer details, change my surname and apply for a new card. It was obviously too much to handle & not within their level of competence. And to think I almost bought a pair of earrings too!

Apparently the debit order wasn't possible because they haven't received the stationery from Head Office for weeks. While on hold with Head Office, I just lost my patience and ended up walking out of the store.

Not sure if its worth getting a new card anyway.
