I wrote a complaint about edgars and their process of opening accounts. I received a call from customer service& they apologized. I don't see how an apology helps me if I go back to the store and still receive poor service from incompetent staff. Rhoda from head office increased my credit limit on my new account, I was not happy with my initial credit limit. she advised me that all I need to do is go back to the store and collect my card. Simple as that. I even received an sms stating I must go to the store. on sat I go to edgards and they said no their system is down they will not be able to fax my documents through to head office I must go to edgars active. there I speak to Sandile the supervisor and I show him the sms. instead of givin me a card he calls head office because apparently there is no need for a new card & he needs to verify my limit. again I am waiting, inconvenienced over opening a simple account. I speak to Portia kolobe on the phone from, they are unable to see what my limit is. I am put on hold for another 10min on the phone. After about 30min Sandile says ok lets "TRY" opening an account & c what the limit will be. why do u not know your procedures?
