What is the Closing time of PnP Siyabuswa?

On Fri, 04/10/2013 at 17h55 I went to Pick 'n Pay in Siyabuswa and the doors were close. I asked the guy at the door (i didn't get his name and he wasn't wearing a name tag) if they are closed already and he said "yes". I asked him how come cause it isn't six yet and he told me they close the doors at 17h45 and only help the customers who are already inside till 18h00.

What puzzled me the most about this experience was that the trading hours sign that's next to the door says they close at 19h00 on week days meaning I was actually 1hrs and 5minutes earlier than the closing time.

I would like to know from Pick 'n Pay Siyabuswa that what are their actual trading hours and if it is true that they close at 17h45 on week days why is it that they do not specify to customers in writing on the door that "shop closes at 18h00 but doors close at 17h45"?
