I received a call from Edgars customer service where they promised that the store would phone me that day (Thursday) with regards to my complaint. After receiving no call I went there myself today (Sunday) to speak to the manager. The manager, Given, said he would see which other store had the "Hi-Tec Fuerza charcoal size UK 8 at R499.95. He phoned me later and said Canal Walk had 4 pairs. I told him that I was told by his staff last week that they had none. I said I didn't want to drive all the way to find out there weren't any. I asked if there was any way he could get them to the Bayside store. He said he didn't like doing that because it was too busy there. He said he would phone me back. I phoned him 40 minutes later saying it didn't have to be delivered today. Given said he didn't like ordering that way because the staff might get it wrong. He would phone me back. Guess what! He did not. I have never had an issue with any other retailer about getting a product from another branch. I even told him I was going to be writing to the Sunday Times consumer column about this whole debacle, and it still made no difference! This has to be the worst service I've ever encountered!
