Purchasing goods on my account

On the 27 Sept at 11:32 got a message from Truworths saying l need to pay my installment of R1674-00 which is due by the 4 October 2013. To my surprise i phoned East gate branch to query as my account balance was on R0.00. A lady called Violet assisted me and told me i had done shopping from the beginning of September and my last purchase was on the 13 Sept 2013 and amount came up to about R15 700-00 and my question is i have always got an sms when a purchase is made but nothing came through all of a sudden i get a message to say l am owing? The other question is how does one purchase using your details if you have never lost your card and ID book? Why are proper verification methods used to protect innocent people from? l need answers and i need this sorted out, how l don't know but i think its high time companies started checking their workers and remove bad apples...
