Payment arrangement

A couple weeks ago a lady from the accounts department called me to make payment arrangements as i could not make my normal payments due to unforeseen circumstances.
We agreed upon an arrangement where i pay an agreed amount of R620 for the next 6 months. I have honored this agreement by paying on the agreed upon date and i also paid a little extra to keep good faith.
I assumed the lady made the necessary notes on their system i mean what kind of company would Foschini be if they did not keep proper record of payments and arrangements thereof.
I get a call from a rude little man who tells me i have not made any such arrangements or payments therefore my account is being handed over to credit bureau. He also demanded a payment that i simply cannot afford. i am disgusted in how this whole situation has been handled. why doesnt he check with Foschini regarding my arrangement or even better listen to the recorded phone calls!
Shocking service and i will be closing this account as soon as i have paid up full and wont be supporting this retailer and neither will anyone of my family!
