Capfin Cannot take payment arrangements

Unfortunately like so many South Africans I found myself unable to make my full Capfin Loan payment of R1400 per month.
My loan balance was R4700 of a 6 month loan.

For more than a month I tried to make a payment arrangement of R1000 per month with their call centre.
On each time I called I was told that their system does not allow them to take payment arrangements.

I eventually got through to Faiek Davids, a supervisor at Capfin who assured me that my arrangement had been recorded on their system.

I paid my first R1000 before the end of Nov and planned to make the next payment before the end of December.

Today I get a call from a law firm to which my account has now been handed over.
They wish to make an arrangement (which I tried to do for months. )

PLUS THEY NOW WANT TO SLAP ON A R900 LEGAL FEE FOR MAKING THIS ARRANGEMENT.
THIS EXCLUDES THE R400 PER MONTH THAT CAPFIN ADDS FOR INTEREST
