In April 2011 we handed over 300k worth of catering equipment to Anglo Auctioneers to sell. It is now Sep 2013 and to date they can not give a list of items that they still have on there books that belong to us. When we have asked for remittances the paper work has indicated that they have sold items below reserve prices, sold the same items twice. They have never met their own terms of payments to be made to use with agreed time frame. We have to constantly follow up.
They have not taken care of very expensive catering equipment in their custody. Items have been left outside open to the elements which has clearly affected the resale value.
The icing on the cake though has to be that they can not give a simple list of the balance of items still with them. Clearly a mistake on my part for selecting Anglo Auctioneers in the first place. Mr Martin Human does not have the decency to respond to emails or take our phone calls. Clearly a company to be avoided.
