Worst Auctioneer Anglo Auctioneers Somerset West

Having planned to attend an auction held by Anglo Auctioneers in Somerset West, I spent considerable time, effort and money on attending for a single item. At the start of the auction the auctioneer went through the terms of the auction for -10 minutes and took his time in explaining that no 'ghost bidders' are present etc. With all this done the first lot number (that I wanted to buy) came up and was sold in 2 seconds. One bid was raised as the auction started and immediately declared sold. I did not even have the opportunity to lift my arm, or raise my voice indicating a bid. I was rudely told that I was too slow. I stand by principle that an Auctioneer should at the very least give a reasonable time for the floor to bid. IE Indicating that it is going for the 1st, 2nd time before declaring that it is SOLD. None of this was done. Attendees of the auction were visibly stunned by the quick nature of the auctioneer. A word of warning, if you feel that you would like to deal with unprofessional unethical auctioneers then feel free to waste your time, efforts and money at Anglo Auctioneers in Somerset West.
