I only can afford to buy groceries when they on special. So every week I take the time to sit through all the pamphlets and mark the goods I need which are on special. EVERY time I go to Checkers (and it doe snot matter which branch in East London - Vincent/Hemingways Mall) I will never walk out with everything on my list. Actually most times I walk out with only 1 or 2 items on my list as everything else is out of stick. WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE SPECIALS??? Today for example I made a special trip to Hemingways Mall. I had a list of 11 items on special and a loaf of bread. Out of the 11 items they did not have 7 of the items. I left very cross about this and disappointed and defeated. I WILL NOT SHOP AT CHECKERS ANYMORE. Then to top it all off when I got home I noticed I was charged normal price on 2 of the goods. Therefore I actually only got 2 items on special. I work directly next door to Pick n Pay and have to make a special trip to get to checkers, but now I know it is not worth it anymore. My mom thought I was exaggerating but she has been with on the last 2 shopping trips and now understands my frustrations with Checkers!!!
