The customer slipped and took a fall through a puddle of water on the floor inside the supermarket, the injuries were of a nature that medical attention was, and is still necessary. Pick and Pay refuse to accept responsibility for their neglect and also also refuse to accept liability. The customer's wife was forced to fly back from Durban to take care of him. Pick 'n Pay's legal representatives can see no grounds to entertain the customer's claim for transport costs, medical expenses and pain and suffering.
