Charged more than the price tag

I just returned from your fourways crossing branch.helped by prescilla mhluli and her packer. I bought efekto ant trap, bar code on shelf said R44. Whenever I buy this product there is a price difference at the till, so I took with me the barcode tag from the shelf, to the till. As expected when the item was scanned it said 49.99. I asked the cashier why its over charging me she said that's the price. I took out the barcode and showed them it said R44 and she said that the prices are updated every Monday so it can't be R44. Then why, may I ask, did the R44 barcode date 8 june? If PnP isn't aware, We are now in September... I will always follow the price on the shelf, if packers cannot price when they should, 3 months ago, then why are you over charging customers for their errors? I would like my R5 back on principle. I have my receipt and will wait for your call.
