Objects lying dangerously on customer walkways

On my last visit to Woolworths Melrose Arch, as I was walking with my wife and child, I suddenly tripped over a small shoe mirror which was not supposed to be in a walkway. My leg was cut open and began to bleed non stop. My wife went to look for the manager, after 10 minutes a lady came to administer first aid. It was a nasty incident. I was limping for the rest of the day.
When I got home and removed my shoe, my ankle started to swell. As a result, I have not been able to attend work for this week.
I am very disappointed as Woolworths, or any store must be made and kept safe for their customers.
I am considering taking action!!!
