I've been consistently paying my bills every month, with exception of a few months where I paid after the financial cut-off date of the 6th. Edgars is maintaining that an amount is payable which is roughly double my monthly installment even though I have paid this month already, effectively billing me for three months over a two month period.

I've been receiving calls up to two times every day for the past few weeks but whenever I pick up, it's just silence. I've phoned them two weeks ago stating my grievances and the operator told me that she can see I've been paying consistently every month albeit sometimes late and her manager will contact me. Obviously that didn't happen. Today I finally got a call that wasn't just silence but whenever I try to explain my situation the operator interrupted me trying to explain concepts to me that I already understood from my first call to them. The only thing the operator was interested in was getting me to agree to pay the double bill before the end of the month.

I will be closing my account at the end of this month and NEVER AGAIN will I be doing any sort of business with any Edcon group due to this incompetence.
