I bought a Grafton lounge suite in January 2013. The suite was ordered in December and the store had none in stock. The suite was made after the December break. The seat cushions were made in such a way that upon assuming a sitting position, one's behind immediately slides forward, i.e. it is difficult to maintain a comfortable position. I was prepared to give the suite a period of time to settle in / stabilise, which did not happen. I complained to the supplier during April / May. A Rep/Agent visited and 'attended' to the issue at the store where the suite was purchased from, i.e. purportedly inserted firm sponge supports in the seating thus to enable a more comfortable sitting position. If, in fact, this was done, it did not improve anything. I have now again complained. I was told by the store that Grafton is prepared to effect repairs at the Grafton factory for 3-4 weeks. My wife and I are middle-aged and to do without a lounge suite for up to 4 weeks is unthinkable, i.e. have to sit on the floor to view TV, entertain guests, etc.? I was hoping for a loan lounge suite (after all, I am the suffering party - Grafton is at fault), but this is not on the cards.
