Woolworths
& LAZINESS

Does Woolworths wrap gifts as a service or is it offered at the companies discretion (when they feel like it) but i've never experienced this blatant lack of interest at Vincent Park Centre branch. i asked Tamlyn at the Foodmarket if i could please have my gift wrapped, she called out to the cashiers at the main tills & what seemed like complete & utter disinterest was informed that they do not have wrapping paper, i thought to myself AGAIN? this happens whenever i request this? i proceeded to leave the store & spoke to Linton a manager on the floor who was surprised at the response i received from the cashiers. he assured me that there was indeed wrapping paper & took the matter into his hands. He went to the back of the store & came out with a large roll of paper. i was fuming because it could be the 5th time that i've been to by the Woolworths staff because of laziness. I proceeded to wrap my own purchase even though the manager wanted to do so. The fact that the store was EMPTY is one thing, so no excuse but to be to due to laziness, by the 2 young ladies & a maturer woman at the tillpoints for a service that WW provides leaves a jagged pill in my throat. #nevercomplains
