Pick n Pay does not honour Scanright promise

I went to the Pick n Pay Centurion Mall today and wanted to purchase 2 packets of Willards at R6.99 each. This is the price on the shelf as well as their latest advert. The product scanned R8.99 at the till and the till supervisor Donald said he cannot give me one product free as it is a national problem and Head Office said not to honour scanright. I phoned the call centre from my cell and they said they will get back to me. They took so long that I had to leave. Thank you Pick n Pay - I did not buy anything today from you and will go to Checkers in the same mall in the future. At least they dont make promises they cant keep.
