Keep on pushing the delivery date

I placed an order online on the 25th of July 2013 for a coffee table. At the time, the website indicated stock availability. They came back about two weeks later to say that there is no longer any stock and they can only deliver in Mid September. On the second week of September, they still hadn't communicated anything. I decided to call them to find out the status of the order. They told me that they will only receive stock Mid October and my delivery probably late October.
This was very disappointing as i had been looking forward to having this coffee table and no other.
An order should not take more than three months to fulfil. This is totally unacceptable.
